This poor puppy had a large amount of fleas that you could easily see crawling all over
All the little black specks are live fleas crawling all over this puppy. We prescribed flea & tick medication to make him much more comfortable and prevent flea anemia!
Raisa & Pili are two vet students from Puerto Rico who came to help out today. They were also super helpful with translating since a large amount of the owners spoke Spanish. Thank you ladies!

Susan with Franklin Co Animal Services not only helped organize our clinic today, but also had local spay neuter info to get owners signed up to have their pets altered. Her partner Alex was kind enough to help out and bring a generator so we had power. Thanks to both of you!!

This momma dog came to be seen with her few month old puppy pictured here. She also just had puppies yesterday, though, so could not get all vaccines since she's nursing. Thanks to Susan, she will soon be spayed and the puppies will eventually be spayed and neutered too. What a huge dent that will make in the pet population!
